So you want light strips in your house?
Unless you already have a Hue house and want to stick with one solution and app, you MUST check out LIFX Z light strips. The new LIFX Z light strips are amazing and beat the Hue’s version in my very non-scientific, head-to-head comparison. The Zs are brighter and offer ‘zones.’ With zones, you have the ability to create multiple color combinations within one strip. It’s awesome and something Hue lights can’t do. It’s nuts how great the Zs are.
I’ll have another video once I have them permanently installed where I can truly checkout colors, whites, and overall reliability over wi-fi. My one concern is the numerous reports of a greenish tint on some of the whites. I’ll have to check that out and see what’s up. Maybe LIFX can fix it with a software update.
